Raised UV Business Cards

For optimal outcomes, ensure that UV coverage does not exceed 30%. Otherwise, the cards may adhere and form a solid group. Additionally, the mask file must be vector art produced in a vector-based program, such as Illustrator. Otherwise, the artwork's edges may not be precise. Acceptable coverage of up to 70% is limited to patterns, delicate strokes, or small forms. Ideally, the raised foil area, shape, or image should not exceed 1” x 1”.

When ordering a raised spot UV job, please include a vector-based raised spot UV mask file along with the regular print file. The mask file will show where the UV coating should be applied. Only use solid 100% K (C 0%, M 0%, Y 0%, K 100%) to indicate where you want the UV. Avoid using shadows, glows, or grayscale images, and use white to indicate no UV. Please make sure to create the mask file in a vector-based program such as Illustrator.
